ON THE COVER OK, this is something special few people have ever seen. We took three fire burnout photo sets at George Ray’s Out- law Drag Strip in Arkansas that evening, one too small, one too big, and one just right (the only set that worked was the final version). The final image that Mopar has used was the seventh in the final sequence. After processing the film, the third one in the sequence had the fire shown in a whirlwind as it moved across the pavement.
